The Davis® approach to learning recognizes that many individuals who struggle with reading, attention, or math are highly creative, visual thinkers whose minds work best through pictures rather than words. Instead of treating these differences as deficits, our approach honors them as strengths. We teach learners how to gain control over moments of disorientation that can interrupt understanding. By using hands-on, picture-based strategies in our programs, we help learners truly comprehend what they are learning, not just memorize rules or content. We teach tools that build skills, confidence, and lasting understanding while respecting each person’s unique way of thinking.

Programs

Dyslexia

The Davis® Mastery for Dyslexia program is a strengths-based approach that builds clear mental meaning for letters, words, and punctuation through hands-on Symbol Mastery techniques, combined with unique reading exercises, to help reading become fluent, confident, and fully understood rather than confusing and frustrating.

Math

The Davis® Mastery for Math program helps individuals who struggle with math build real understanding from the ground up. Learners use visual learning and techniques to explore quantity, cause-and-effect relationships, and what math processes actually mean instead of just memorizing steps. Numbers, operations, and math language become more clear and concrete, allowing students to gain confidence and approach math with greater ease.

ADHD

The Davis® Mastery for Attention is a personalized, drug-free program designed to help individuals who experience challenges with focus, organization, and self-regulation. This program helps participants discover how to recognize and manage their energy levels, strengthen mental clarity, and develop greater focus and self-control. It helps provide practical tools to improve planning, follow-through, and daily organization, helping individuals replace feelings of overwhelm with a greater sense of structure, confidence, and productivity.

Early Learners

The Davis® Foundations for Reading program is a hands-on program for young children (5-7 yrs) that builds essential reading skills — mastering letters, punctuation, and sight words — in a way that matches their natural learning style. It also teaches focus, energy and self-regulation while involving a parent or support person to help reinforce those skills, laying a solid foundation for fluent reading and lifelong learning.
